In collaboration with Dr. Sorawit of BIOTEC, under the Thailand National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), we are working on a simple improvement to the air delivery system design of our spirulina production system to try and help prevent any possibility of contamination from entering. Dr. Sorawit is also advising us on some of the other research topics we are working on, such as treating the water from our spirulina tanks after several months of use so that we can re-use it again. This will be very important when we begin spirulina production in water scarce countries such as Kenya, where we plan to begin operations in 2018.
