This month two adventurous EnerGaia team members, Ezra and Renu, visited Madurai, India to set up the lab on the grounds of Antenna Tech.
After interviewing several local candidates, we have hired our first new team member in Madurai! We welcome Kalimuthu as our first microbiologist at a rural farmer project.
Ezra, the new Technology Director at EnerGaia based at HQ in Bangkok, conducted a training class on spirulina microbiology techniques and supported Kali to begin setting up a new lab at the Antenna Ecopark.
Meanwhile, Renu focused on contacting suppliers in India to establish local sources for the large plastic tanks and air blowers used in EnerGaia’s spirulina production system.
