As part of our growing relationship with the Minor Group in Thailand, Bonnie from the EnerGaia team performed a site assessment of a new potential spirulina farm to be located on a rooftop at the Anantara Riverside Hotel in Bangkok.
This beautiful resort is located on the Chaopraya River across from “Asiatique”. With enough space for at least 150 tanks and breathtaking views of both the city and the river, it seems like a very promising location to extend EnerGaia’s urban farming footprint and increase production within the city center.
We are hopeful that construction can begin there as early as November after final planning has been completed. Nik, the GM of the Anantara Riverside, is also an accomplished chef and is excited about the possibility of putting new spirulina dishes and bakery items on the menu !
